Terms of use
Effective 2026-10-07
These terms set the conditions for using What It Calls (whatitcalls.reactiveworks.dev, “the service”). By using the service you agree to them.
Effective 2026-10-07
The service
The service shows the results of static analysis of code in public GitHub repositories. A result lists, as facts, the external API calls found in the code, where they are, and information from our pricing catalog. It does not rate a repository or its authors. How the analysis works is published in the methodology.
The service is free and needs no account.
No warranty
The service and its results are provided “as is”. We do not warrant that results are accurate, complete or up to date.
- Static analysis does not run the code, so it cannot reflect every case at run time.
- A result reflects the commit that was checked; later changes are not reflected until the repository is checked again.
- Pricing information is as of its check date, and providers may change it at any time.
We aim to keep the service available, but it may pause for maintenance, outages or issues with outside services.
Your decisions
Whether to install, use or skip a tool based on a result is your own decision. Please check the original code through the evidence links on the result page. Except for intent or gross negligence, we are not liable for losses from decisions made on the basis of a result.
Repository code and trademarks
The code, names, logos and trademarks of checked repositories belong to their owners. The service quotes only the minimum needed to show evidence and links to the original location. The service is not affiliated with repository owners.
Fair use
The following are not allowed:
- Requesting large numbers of checks with automated tools
- Putting excessive load on the service or the external APIs it uses
- Editing results in a misleading way and presenting them as the original
- Trying to reach areas you are not allowed into, such as the admin area
New checks are limited to 5 per minute and 30 per hour per IP. Past that, please try again a little later. Reading published results is not limited. A repository can be rechecked once every 10 minutes.
We may block requests that break these rules.
Corrections
If you think a result is wrong, use “This result is wrong” on the result page. Reports are handled under the corrections policy.
Badges
You may add the badge offered on a result page to a README or elsewhere. Please link the badge to that repository’s result page. Do not alter the badge image or use it so that it appears to describe another repository.
Ads
The service may show Google AdSense ads. Advertisers are responsible for their ads, which have nothing to do with results. For ad cookies, see the privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, we post them on this page with an effective date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes about the service fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea.
